Children's Choir
Children's Choir
The children choir is one of the vibrant choirs of our church. The children choir consists of children aging between 5 years and 13 years.
The started in 2017 with a total of 70 members with five teachers and two sponsors. The choir has one assigned church elder who oversees spirituality of the group.
The choir membership has since increased from 70 to 80 and has since recorded two audio albums and two video albums.
The choir which has been engaged in several gospel campaigns both within and outside the Nyamira Conference enjoys support from the church choir which has nurtured them to the level they are now.
Childrens Choir
They had planned to release their third audio and video album in 2020 but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the plans were halted.
Nyamira South Children Choir is one of the best children choirs in East Kenya Union and continues to do great work within their jurisdiction.
The children choirs, occasionally organizes for visits to hospitals within the Nyamira Municipality where they donate food stuff, sanitary towels and tissues and other materials to patients and their caretakers.
They have severally visited their fellow children at the Blessed Hope Children Home to worship, play and sing with them. They donate clothes, food stuffs and playing materials to these orphans who are housed at this Children Home.
To fund their activities, the children choir raises their funds form the CDs/DVDs sales and donations from well wishers. The church also supports them through special fundraisings.
