History about Nyamira South SDA Church

Nyamira South SDA Church is located behind Nyamira County Police Headquarters. It falls under the Nyamira East District under the leadership of Pr. Kennedy Rubansi. The district is under the newly created Sironga Station, Nyamira Conference in East Kenya Union Conference.

The church was established in 2005 after a gospel campaign (crusade) held here in Nyamira by Evangelist Muhando (Tz). All members who were baptized were entered into the records of the church under Nyamira South Sabbath school to help nurture and retain them as they grew spiritually.

Purpose

To create awareness among the leadership at all levels and the membership challenging them on the need to reach out to both the un-entered areas and un-reached people groups with the gospel of Christ.

Vision

The entire EKUC leadership and its members have embraced the mission challenges of our territory and are fully involved in establishing Adventist presence in areas with no Adventist Churches …

Mission

To reach out to people living in areas with no Adventist presence and people groups with low Adventist influence with the purpose of communicating the everlasting Gospel of God’s love…
