The entire EKUC leadership and its members have embraced the mission challenges of our territory and are fully involved in establishing Adventist presence in areas with no Adventist Churches and further carrying out special ministries among un-reached people groups in the fulfilment of God\u2019s Mission.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

To reach out to people living in areas with no Adventist presence and people groups with low Adventist influence with the purpose of communicating the everlasting Gospel of God\u2019s love in the context of the three Angels Messages of Revelation 14:6-12, leading them to accept Jesus as personal Savoir and Lord, unite with His Church, discipling them to serve him as Lord, and preparing them for His soon return.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

1.<\/span>\u00a0That, this gospel of the kingdom must be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations (people groups), and then the end will come. Mathew 24:14. Hence each believer has a role to play in the fulfilment of the Great Commission.<\/span>
2.<\/span>. Mission is to be carried in a cross cultural manner so that the truth as stated in the Bible may be relevant to the receptors<\/span>
3.<\/span>\u00a0Self support is a key component in establishing mission in new frontiers.<\/span>

Nyamira South SDA Church is located behind Nyamira County Police Headquarters. It falls under the Nyamira East District under the leadership of Pr. Kennedy Rubansi. The district is under the newly created Sironga Station, Nyamira Conference in East Kenya Union Conference.<\/p>

The church was established in 2005 after a gospel campaign (crusade) held here in Nyamira by Evangelist Muhando (Tz). All members who were baptized were entered into the records of the church under Nyamira South Sabbath school to help nurture and retain them as they grew spiritually.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The church was born out of Nyamira pastoral district before it was divided into two in 2018 into Nyamira Central and Nyamira East.<\/p>

The church started holding their services at the former Nyamira County Councils grounds. The church was a Nyamira Central church Sabbath School.<\/p>

Nyamira South Sabbath School in 2006 moved its services to the current grounds after acquiring the piece of land behind the Nyamira Police headquarters. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Sabbath school was organised into a fully-fledged church in July 5th<\/sup> 2007 an event that was officiated by Pr. Charles Kerosi, former Director of Church Development, Nyamira Conference. The church.<\/p>

Later, in 2009, the Pr. Samwel Onchwari laid the church\u2019s foundation stone that commenced the building and development of the church. The church was completed in 2015 and in the same year in August 15, the church started holding services in the new building.<\/p>

The church started with a membership of above 1000 and has steadily grown to over 1600. This number is bound to grow given that the church is actually in the town centre and strategically placed.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
