    Introduction<\/b><\/p>

    Adventist Chaplaincy Ministries (ACM) is comprised of trained chaplains, from diverse backgrounds, who are committed to Jesus-Christ and the global mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. These men and women desire to help people in the sites where they minister and share with them the soon coming of Jesus.<\/span><\/p>

    Through the ministry of these chaplains ACM recognizes and responds to the needs of persons within their unique institutional\/organizational settings, including penitentiaries, educational campuses, healthcare institutions, military campuses, and so on\u2026 An incarnational ministry of presence is offered to all persons in need<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    Mission<\/b><\/p>

    The mission of Adventist Chaplaincy Ministries is to develop the ministry of Adventist chaplains throughout all the divisions of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.<\/span><\/p>

    The ACM mission has four elements:<\/span><\/p>

    1. To develop and \/ or sustain chaplaincy ministries; and recruit, endorse, train, and support Adventist clergy as chaplains. ACM endeavors to place qualified Adventist pastors as chaplains on college and university campuses, in community agencies, correctional institutions, health care facilities, military forces, and the work place.<\/span><\/li>
    2. To oversee and certify professional training programs.<\/span><\/li>
    3. To endorse and certify capable, competent and caring Adventist clergy as chaplains. All chaplains are first pastors, though not all pastors are called to be chaplains.<\/span><\/li>
    4. To provide pastoral care and nurture for people regardless of their declared faith or no faith. Chaplains must exercise spiritual leadership with integrity and be professionally proficient, flexible and balanced.<\/span><\/li><\/ol>

      Adventist chaplains providing competent and responsible care for the religious needs and spiritual well-being of all persons associated with the institution or organization they serve.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
